A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ROLLING HILLS ADOPTING GUIDELINES FOR THE
ENVIRONMENTAL QUALITY BOARD FOR SAID CITY
WHEREAS, the City Council (hereinafter "Council) of
the City of Rolling Hills (hereinafter "City") has heretofore
by ordinance created an Environmental Quality Board pursuant to
the provisions of the Public Resources Code of the State of
California; and
WHEREAS, The City finds that it is now necessary and
required to adopt new and amended guidelines for the evaluation
of projects, preparations of Environmental Impact Reports and
Negative Declarations pursuant to Section 21,000 et seq of the
Public Resources Code of the State of California;
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of
the City of Rolling Hills does adopt the guidelines promulgated.
by the Office of Planning and Research of the State of California
pursuant to Sections 21082 and 21083 of the Public Resources Code
as amended through March 14, 1978, and further amended through
May 10,1980, entitled "GUIDELINES FOR THE IMPLEMENTATION OF THE,
CALIFORNIA ENVIRONMENTAL QUALITY ACT" also known as "State of
California Enviro' tal Impact Report Guidelines", which are

part'of Title XIV, Division 6, Chapter 3, of the State of Cali-
fornia AdministrativeCode, as the guidelines of the Environmental
Quality Board:of the City of Rolling Hills, California, pursuant
to Section 21082 of the Public Resources Code of said State.
A copy of said Guidelines is attached hereto, marked
"Exhibit A" and made -a part hereof by this reference.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that three copies of said
Environmental Impact Report Guidelines, adopted,by this Resolu-,
tion.- shall be delivered to and kept in the office of the City
Clerk, and shall be at all times maintained by the City Clerk
for the use and examination -of the public.
BE ITFURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of said Guidelines
adopted by this Resolution shall also be deposited with the
SecretaryoftheEnvironmental Quality Board of the City for the
use of said Board.
BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that the Environmental Quality
Board of this City be requested to adopt said Guidelines as the
Guidelines of the.Environmental Quality Board of this City as
the first order of business at the next regular or special meeting
of said Board.
