RESOLUTION NO. 456
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ROLLING HILLS EXTENDING THE CONTRACT TO
PROVIDE ANIMAL SHELTER SERVICE BY THE COUNTY
OF LOS ANGELES FOR.THE YEAR COMMENCING JULY 12,
1991 AND ENDING JUNE 30, 1982.
WHEREAS, the City of Rolling Hills on June 30, 1978,..entered
into a written agreement with the County of Los Angeles which provided,
among other things, that the County Department of Animal Control would
provide animal shelter service for the City of Rolling Hills for a
period of one year beginning July 1, 1978, and ending June 30, 1979,
which contract was extended through June 30, 1981; and
iVHEREAS; said written contract is now in full force and.
effect and has'not been terminated by either the City or the County;
and
WHEREAS, the City of Rolling Hills desires'to extend said
contract at the expiration thereof on June 30, 1981, for a period: of
an additional.year commencing July 1, 1981 and ending June 30,.1982;
�• NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City' Council of the.
City of Rolling Hills that the City of Rolling Hills be authorized
to enter into a written agreement with the County of Los Angeles:
providing for the.furnishing of animal shelter service to. the City

BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that a certified copy of this
Resolution be forwarded to -the Chief Administrative Officer of the
County of Los Angeles for action by the Board of Supervisors.
