RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROLLING
HILLS, CALIFORNIA, EXTENDING CONTRACT TO PROVIDE MAP.
CHECKING SERVICE OF TRACT MAPS AND PARCEL MAPS IN.
SUBDIVISIONS IN'THE JURISDICTION OF THE CITY OF ROLLING
HILLS BY THE COUNTY OF LOS ANGELES FOR YEAR COMMENCING
JULY 1, 1981 AND ENDING JUNE 30, 1982
WHEREAS the City of Rolling Hills., on or about August 2,
1976, entered into a written agreement with the County Engineer of
the County of Los. Angeles which provided, among other things,.that
the County Engineer would provide tract map and parcel map checking.
service for the City of Rolling Hills, which agreement was automati-
cally renewed from year-to-year for successive one-year periods; and
WHEREAS, said written agreement is now in full force --and
effect and has not been terminated by either the City or the County;
and
WHEREAS, the-City.of Rolling Hills desires. to extend said
agreement at expiration thereofon June -30, 1981, for &p"eriod of.an,
additional year commencing July,l, 1981,and ending June 30, 1982;..
NOW,.THEREFORE,. "BiE IT RESOLVED by the City Council -Of the
City of Rolling Hills -that the City of Rolling Hills bee -authorized
to enter into a written agreement with the'County Engineer of,the
County of Los Angeles providing for the furnishing of tradt*map and

parcel map checking services for all subdivision maps. within the
jurisdiction of the City of Rolling Hills for a period of' one year
commencing July - 1,, 1981 and ending June 30,1982, at an hourly rate
to be fixed by -the County-of'Los Angeles, and approved .and .agreed to
by the City of Rolling Hills.;
BE IT -FINALLY RESOLVED that a certified copy of this
Resolution be forwarded to the Chief Administrative Officer of the
County of' Los Angeles for action by the Board of Supervisors.`
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 9th day of February, 1981.
