A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROLLING HILLS
AUTHORI.ZI:NG ITS GRANT UNDER THE CALIFORNIA PARKLANDS BOND ACT
OF 1981 TO BE UTILIZED BY THE CITY'OF ROLLING HILLS ESTATES
WHEREAS, under the formula developed by the Cities of Los
Angeles County to allocate funds from the California Parklands
Bond Act of 1980, the City of Rolling Hills is entitled to file
grant request totalling $20,000.00; and
iaHEREAS, i.t is possible for cities to join together to file
applications for combined grants, or for one City to designate
the use of its grant funds for a project in another City which
will be of benefit to the residents of the granting City; and .
WHEREAS, the City of Rolling Hills Estates is planning the
development of Dapplegray Park adjacent to the City of Rolling
Hills; and
WHEREAS, Dapplegray Park will contain facilities:.which.will
be used and enjoyed by the City of Rolling Hills citizens;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City of Rolling
Hills authorizes the City -of Rolling Hills Estates to utilize
the. City -of Rolling.H.11s grant of $20,000.00 by applying for
these funds for development of Dapplegray Park under the California
Parklands Bond Act of 1980.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 9th day of March, 1981.

California at a regular meeting thereof held on the 9th day
