RESOLUTION NO. 464
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROLLING
HILLS INITIATING PROCEEDINGS FOR THE FORMATION OF THE
KLONDIKE CANYON LANDSLIDE ABATEMENT DISTRICT
The City Council of the City of.Rollin'g Hills hereby resolves
as follows:
Section 1. The City Council of the City of Rolling Hills
.
hereby elects to proceed under and pursuant to the provisions of
Division 17 (commencing with Section 26500) of the Public REsources
Code of the State of California. -
Section 2. TheCity Council has-been presented with and has
received a plan of control for the prevention, mitigation, abatement,
or control of the geologic hazard and has determined that the public.
health, safety and welfare require formation of the Klondike Canyon.
Landslide Abatement District,
Section 3. -A public hearing shall beheld on such formation
on May ll,- 1981 at -7:30 P.M. at La Cresta School, 38 Crest Road West,
Rolling Hills, California. Objections to the formation of -such district
shall be in the form described by Section 26564 of the PublicResources
..Code.
Section -4. Notice of the hearing shall be prepared and
distributed pursuant to the provisions of Sections 26561 26563 of.:
the Public Resources Code. The District Boundaries shall be those
of the City of Rolling Hills.
