RESOLUTION NO..465
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROLLING
HILLS,.CALIFORNIA ESTABLISHING AN ALTERNATIVE CITY HALL
FOR THE HOLDING OF MEETINGS OF THE CITY COUNCIL
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 211, adopted- April 242 1967 by .. the
City Council of the City of Rolling Hills declares that all meetings
of the City Council shall be held in the City Hall located at No. 2
Portuguese Bend.Road of said City; and
WHEREAS, the seating in the City Hall is'limited to less
than 100 persons;, and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that some items of City
business attract the attendance of a larger number of residents than
can be seated or accommodated in the City Hall at No. 2 Portuguese
Bend Road., and.that a larger meeting place should be established and
is necessary and required tosupplyseating for residents who attend
said meetings; and
WHEREAS., La Crest,a School, located within the boundaries of
the City of Rolling Hills, is conveniently located as a meeting hall.
large enough to seat and accommodate substantially lariger numbers of
-residents attending Council meetings;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the
City of Rolling Hills does hereby establish and.declare.that La Cresta
School on Crest Road West,* in addition to the City Hall -located at No.
2iP6rtuguese Bned Road' -is an.alternate*City Hall for the'.purpose'of
holding special meetings of the City Council.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that all meetings of the City Council
which are held at La Cresta School shall*be noticed by -posting such
fact in three public places.within the -City at leasit ten days prior to
the holding of such meeting, and unless so noticed, all'meetings of -
the City Council shall be held at the City -Hall at No. 2 Portuguese
Bend Road and
BE -IT FINALLY RESOLVED that the City Hall at No. 2 Portu-

..guese Bend Road shall be the principal office of City for the
' transaction of the business of said City and the keeping' of the
records of said City except as provided for herein to the contrary.
