RESOLUTION NO. 473
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF'
ROLLING HILLS PROVIDING REVENUE SHARING CREDIT
FOR CERTAIN FIRE PROTECTION TAXES PAID BY CITY
PROPERTY OWNERS
The City Council of the City of Rolling Hills resolves
as follows:
Sect . ion .1 1.* Pursuant to Government Code Section
43073(a), the City Council of the City of Rolling Hills$ a
city encompassed entirely within the.territory,of the Los
Angeles County Consolidated Fire Protection District hereby
elects to payto such District an amount equal to the amount
such District would derive from its share of property tax
allocations applicable to property within the incorporated
limits of the City.
Sect -ion 2. Pursuant to Government Code Section
43073(b), the Auditor -Controller of the County of Los Angeles
shall reallocate property taxes due to such District within the
fiscal year 1981-1982 and each fiscal year thereafter. Pursuant
to Government Code Section 43073(c), upon apportionment of taxes
by the County, the reallocated amounts shall be transferred by
the Auditor-Controllerof the County to such District in payment
to such District as provided in Section I hereof.
Section 3. By adoption o.f this Resolution, the City
Council does not waive, and *expressly.reserveso.all rights with
respect to . tax effort credits for Federal revenue sharing pur-
poses for prior years.
Section 4. The City Clerk is directed forthwith to
mail a certified copy of this Resolution by certified mail to
the Audotor-Controlleri,.the Assessor and the Tax Collector of
the County of Los Angeles.
Section 5. The City Clerk shall, within 15 days of
adoption hereof, post copies of this.Resolution in.at'least
''
three.public places in the City designated for the postingcif
City ordinances and notices and shall file proof of such posting
in the official records .of'the City Clerk.
