RESOLUTION NO. 502
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ROLLING HILLS, CALIFORNIA PROVIDING FOR RE -NUMBERING
TWO HOUSES ON UPPER BLACKWATER CANYON ROAD,AND
CLARIFYING NAMES OF ROADS
WHEREAS, there exists a need for re -numbering homes, since
a new residence exists on Upper Blackwater Canyon Road,•. and
WHEREAS, the City Council has considered a recommendation
from the.Planning Commission for the renumbering of houses on Upper
Blackwater Canyon Road, and a request to add the word "Upper" to
the southerly portion of Blackwater Canyon Road and refer to the
northerly portion as Blackwater Canyon Road; and
WHEREAS, the City Council, after carefully considering
all information, is of the opinion that the plan attached hereto:.`
marked Exhibit "A':' and incorporated herein by reference, is the
proper plan for the renumbering.of properties.to insure a sound
numbering system for identification purposes and to comply with
requests from the Fire and Sheriff's Department;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the house numbering
plan and addition of the word"Upper" as described in Exhibit "A"
be adopted for Upper Blackwater Canyon Road and Blackwater Canyon
Road in the City of Rolling Hills, which shall become effective on
February 1, 1983.

word "Upper" added at the'beginning.* Henceforth it shall be'
called "Upper Blackwater Canyon Road", and the northerly portion
(houses -numbered #1 - 2 - 3 - 5 - 7) shall be known as
Blackwater Canyon Road.
