A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ROLLING HILLS, CALIFORNIA NOTIFYING THE BOARD
OF SUPERVISORS OF CITY COUNCIL'S INTENTION TO
RETAIN LOS ANGELES COUNTY SHERIFF SERVICES
WHEREAS, the City.Council of the City of Rolling Hills
engages the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department as its general
law enforcement agency; and
WHEREAS, the Law Enforcement.Service Agreement for such -
service is renewable in five.year increments; and
WHEREAS, the current Law Enforcement Service Agreement,
effective April 9, 1980 (reference date of February 25, 1980),
required the City to notify the Board of Supervisors of its intent
prior to December 31 of the year preceeding expiration of said
contract;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT the City Council of
the City of Rolling Hills wishes to renew its Law Enforcement
Service Agreement with the County of Los Angeles, to.provide law
enforcement services to the City through the Los Angeles County
Sheriff's Department.
