A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ROLLING HILLS AMENDING CONDITIONAL USE
PERMIT NO. 297 BY EXTENDING THE DURATION
THEREOF FOR ONE YEAR
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROLLING HILLS DOES
RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section to An application was filed by the Palos
Verdes Peninsula Unified School District to amend Conditional
Use Permit No. 297 so as to extend the duration thereof for one
year, thereby permitting continued use of the La Cresta School
site for adult education .sponsored by Harbor College.
Section 2. A public hearing was duly noticed and
held at 7:30 P.M. on June 10, 1985 -in the City Council chambers,
City Hall, 2..Portuguese Bend Road, Rolling Hills, California.
Evidence, both written and oral, was received and considered by
the Council at the hearing. `
Section 3. The City Council finds as follows:

1. The interim use by Harbor College of La
Cresta School for adult education classes is beneficial
to the community and has had no harmful or detrimental effects
on the public health, safety and welfare;
2. Continued use of La Cresta by Harbor College
for one additional year is compatible with the surrounding
community, consistent with the goals of the zoning ordinance
and in furtherance of.the public welfare;
3. This extension of this existing use will not
have a significant effect on the environment as indicated
in the Negative Declaration prepared in connection with
CUP No. 297.

Section 4. On the basis of the foregoing findings,
the City Council hereby modifies Conditional Use Permit No. 297
by extending its duration one year to June 11,1986, subject to
all of the conditions originally imposed under CUP No. 297.
