RESOLUTION NO. 553'
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
CITY OF ROLLING HILLS APPROVING AND
ADOPTING THE ANNUAL APPROPRIATIONS LIMIT
FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 1986-87
WHEREAS, the voters.:of California, on November 6, 1979,
added Article XIII B tootle State Constitution, placing various
limitations on the appropriations of the state and local
governments; and
WHEREAS, Article XIII B provides that the appropriations
limit for the fiscal year 1986-87 is calculated by adjusting
the base year appropriations for fiscal year 1978-79 for changes
in the cost of living and population which amounts to $436,030.00;
and
WHEREAS, the documentation used in the determination of the
appropriations limit has been on file in the office of the director
00 of Finance and available to. the public for more than fifteen days;

N WHEREAS, the City of Rolling Hills has complied with all
W the provisions of Article XIII B in determining the appropriations
m limit for fiscal year 1986-87;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the appropriations
subject to limitation in fiscal year 1986-87 shall be $157,175.00
in the City of Rolling Hills.
