A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROLLING
HILLS APPROVING THE TRAFFIC COMMISSION RECOMMENDATIONS
REGARDING SAFETY IMPROVEMENTS FOR VEHICULAR ACCESS TO THE
CITY ADMINISTRATION FACILITY
WHEREAS, the City's Deputy Traffic Engineer has provided
recommendations for safety improvements for vehicular access to the
City Administration facility; and
WHEREAS, members of the Traffic Commission at their regular
meeting held September 21, 1990 recommended that the City Council
approve the recommendations; and
WHEREAS, implementation of these recommendations will improve
vehicular safety in and around the City Administration facility.
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the members of the Rolling
Hills City Council as follows:
Section 1. City Staff is hereby directed to cause the
following to occur at the City Hall Administration facility:
o installation of median striping from Portuguese Bend Road
easterly approximately seventy-five feet (751) toward the
parking lot;
o installation of a stop sign for vehicles exiting the
Administration Building;
o installation of a "STOP" pavement legend on the driveway
adjacent to the proposed stop sign; and
o tree trimming adjacent to the new stop sign.
Section 2. The Mayor, or presiding officer, is hereby
directed to affix his signature to this resolution signifying its
adoption, and the City Clerk, or duly appointed deputy, is directed
to attest thereto.

City Council on 29th day of October, 1990 by the following vote:

Swanson; Mayor Heinsheimer.
