A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ROLLING HILLS APPROVING AN AGREEMENT
AMENDING THE JOINT POWERS AGREEMENT FOR THE
SOUTH BAY CORRIDOR STUDY, PHASE III
(IMPLEMENTATION). -
WHEREAS, members of the South Bay Corridor Steering
Committee have recommended that the individual Cities approve an
amendment to the Joint Powers Agreement for the South Bay Corridor
Study, Phase III (Implementation) establishing a Technical Advisory
Committee; and
WHEREAS, the City of Rolling Hills is a member of the
South Bay Corridor Steering Committee; and
WHEREAS, members of the Rolling Hills City Council
support the idea of establishing a Technical Advisory Committee to
provide recommendations to the South Bay Corridor Steering
Committee.
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City Council of the
City of Rolling Hills as follows:
SECTION 1. Members of the City Council of the City of
Rolling Hills do hereby approve the attached Agreement labeled
"Exhibit All amending the Joint Powers Agreement for the South Bay
Corridor Study, Phase III.
SECTION 2. The Mayor is hereby authorized to sign this
Resolution signifying its adoption and is also authorized to sign
the Agreement marked Exhibit A.
SECTION 3. The City Clerk or duly authorized Deputy is
directed to transmit copies of this Resolution to the Chairman of
the South Bay Corridor Steering Committee and shall sign this
Resolution signifying its adoption.
