A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROLLING
HILLS, CALIFORNIA, ASSIGNING TO THE CITY OF LOMITA,
CALIFORNIA A PART OF ITS AVAILABLE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT
BLOCK GRANT (CDBG) FUNDS
WHEREAS, the City of Lomita participates in a low income
senior citizen housing development program, hereinafter referred to
as "PROGRAM"; and
WHEREAS, the City of Rolling Hills has determined that the
aforementioned PROGRAM is in the general interest of the City of
Rolling Hills regarding the attainment of housing element
objectives; and
WHEREAS, the City of Rolling Hills is willing to assign a
fixed sum of $9,903 of its available FY 92 CDBG funds to the City
of Lomita to share in the cost of the PROGRAM.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Rolling Hills,
California, does hereby resolve as follows:
SECTION 1. The City of Rolling Hills hereby assigns to the
City of Lomita a fixed sum of $9,903 of the City of Rolling Hills
available Community Development Block Grant Funds to share in the
cost of the PROGRAM.
SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of
this Resolution and shall forward certified copies to the Los
Angeles County Community Development Commission, to the City of
Lomita and the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors.
SECTION 3. The Mayor is hereby directed to affix his
signature to this Resolution, and the City Clerk, or duly
authorized Deputy is directed to attest thereto.
