A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROLLING
HILLS ESTABLISHING THE FEES PERTAINING TO THE ISSUANCE OF
PERMITS REGULATING THE OPERATION OF VEHICLES EXCEEDING
MAXIMUM ALLOWABLE SIZES ON STREETS WITHIN THE CITY.
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to establish fees for the
issuance of permits relative to extra large vehicles accessing the
City; and
WHEREAS, issuance of such permits is authorized under the
State of California Vehicle Code: and
WHEREAS, permits are issued to improve the public safety of
local motorists encountering extra large vehicles travelling within
the City.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Rolling Hills,
California, does hereby resolve as follows:
SECTION 1. The City Council hereby establishes a permit fee
of $75 per vehicle entering the City"of Rolling Hills which falls
under Chapter 10.70 of the Municipal Code. These fees are
established pursuant to Section 10.70.080 of the Municipal Code.
This fee reflects and does not exceed the cost to the City of
processing these permits.
SECTION 2. The Mayor is hereby directed to affix his
signature to this Resolution, and the City Clerk, or duly
authorized Deputy is directed to attest thereto.
