A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ROLLING HILLS AUTHORIZING A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS
FOR CITYWIDE STREET RESTRIPING AND RELATED WORK
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROLLING HILLS DOES
RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
WHEREAS, the City of Rolling Hills desires to seek proposals for citywide
street restriping and related work; and
WHEREAS, on September 20, 1991, members of the Rolling Hills Traffic
Commission approved the attached City of Rolling Hills Citywide Replacement of Traffic'
Striping and Pavement Markings bid package; and
WHEREAS, the City Council concurs with the recommendation of the Traffic
Commission and desires to solicit bids for the above mentioned work.
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Rolling
Hills as follows:
Section L The City Council hereby approves the attached Citywide
Replacement of Traffic Striping and Pavement Markings bid package and authorizes notice
to bidders for the traffic striping and pavement markings project.
Section 2. The City Council hereby authorizes the City Manager, or his
representative, to duly advertise for the notice inviting sealed bids for the Citywide
Replacement of Traffic Striping and Pavement Markings in the City of Rolling Hills and,
upon opening of bids, to prepare and present a recommendation for selection of a
contractor to the Traffic Commission who will in turn, make a formal recommendation for
City Council consideration.
Section 3. The Mayor, or presiding officer, is hereby authorized to affix his
signature to this Resolution, and the City Clerk, or duly appointed deputy shall attest
thereto.
