A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ROLLING HILLS, CALIFORNIA, AWARDING THE CITYWIDE
REPLACEMENT OF TRAFFIC STRIPING AND PAVEMENT
MARKING CONTRACT TO SAFETY STRIPING SERVICE,
INCORPORATED OF VENTURA, CALIFORNIA.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROLLING HILLS DOES
RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
WHEREAS, members of the Rolling Hills City Council, based upon the
recommendation of the Rolling Hills Traffic Commission, authorized a Request for
Proposals for citywide street restriping and related work by the adoption of Resolution No.
652 on October 28, 1991; and
WHEREAS, one bid was received by the deadline of 11:00 a.m., Tuesday,
December 10, 1991; and
WHEREAS, members of the Rolling Hills Traffic Commission have reviewed
the bid submitted by Safety Striping Service, Incorporated of Ventura, California and have
adopted Resolution No. TC -91-3 recommending that the City Council award the City of
Rolling Hills Citywide Replacement of Traffic Striping and Pavement Markings Contract
to Safety Striping Service, Incorporated of Ventura, California in an amount not to exceed
twenty thousand, five hundred and ninety three dollars and seventy cents ($20,593.70).
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROLLING
HILLS, CALIFORNIA DOES HEREBY RESOLVE, DECLARE, DETERMINE AND
ORDER AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Members of the City Council hereby award the Rolling Hills
Citywide Replacement of Traffic Striping and Pavement Markings Contract to Safety
Striping Service, Incorporated of Ventura, California in an amount not to exceed twenty
thousand, five hundred and ninety three dollars and seventy cents ($20,593.70).
Section 2. The Mayor is directed to affix his/her signature to the Contract
Agreement as provided in the original bid packet, and the City Manager is hereby directed
to coordinate this citywide replacement of traffic striping and pavement marking project and
to obtain all necessary signatures and related information to commence this work as
expeditiously as possible.
Section 3. That the City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this Resolution
and enter it into the book of original Resolutions.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 2,3,- ay of December, 1991.
