RESOLUTION NO. 694
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROLLING
HILLS APPROVING AN AGREEMENT FOR ADDITIONAL EXTENSION
OF TERM OF THE JOINT POWERS AGREEMENT FOR THE SOUTH
BAY CORRIDOR STUDY PHASE III (IMPLEMENTATION) AND FOR
THE INCLUSION OF THE CITY OF LOS ANGELES.
WHEREAS, members of the South Bay Corridor Steering Committee have recommended
the five (5) year extension to the Joint Powers Agreement for the South Bay Corridor Study at the regular
meeting held September 4, 1992; and
WHEREAS, the current Joint Powers Agreement expires on June 30, 1993; and
WHEREAS, the proposed extension approved by the South Bay Corridor Steering Committee
would extend the current Agreement to June 30, 1998.
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved bytheCity Council of the City of Rolling Hills as
follows:
Section 1. Members of the City Council of the City of Rolling Hills do hereby approve the
attached Agreement extending the Joint Powers Agreement for the South Bay Corridor Study, Phase III
(Implementation).
Section 2. The Mayor is hereby authorized to sign this resolution signifying its adoption and
is also authorized to sign the Agreement marked Exhibit "A".
Section 3. The City Clerk or duly authorized Deputy is directed to transmit copies of this
Resolution to the Chair of the South Bay Corridor Steering Committee and shall sign this Resolution
signifying its adoption
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Rolling Hills on
this 23rd day of November, 1992.
