A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ROLLING HILLS ESTABLISHING THE DEFINITION OF A
QUORUM FOR PURPOSES OF CONDUCTING MEETINGS OF
THE ROLLING HILLS DISASTER PREPAREDNESS

WHEREAS, the City of Rolling Hills has formed the Rolling Hills Disaster
Preparedness Committee; and
WHEREAS, this Committee consists of sixteen Rolling Hills residents
including a Chair and Vice Chair; and
WHEREAS, it has been difficult in the past to establish a quorum of this
sixteen member Committee for consideration of important disaster preparedness
materials; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to have this Committee function and
make recommendations regarding disaster preparedness in the City of Rolling Hills.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. A quorum of the Rolling Hills Disaster Preparedness Committee
is established at five members.
Section 2. The Mayor is authorized to affix his signature hereto and the
City Clerk shall certify to the passage and adoption of this Resolution.�
