A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ROLLING HILLS, CALIFORNIA, AWARDING THE FY 95-96
CITYWIDE REPLACEMENT OF TRAFFIC STRIPING AND
PAVEMENT MARKING CONTRACT TO ASAP SERVICES,
INC. OF SAN BERNARDINO, CALIFORNIA.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROLLING HILLS DOES HEREBY
RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
WHEREAS, members of the Rolling Hills City Council, based upon the
recommendation of the Rolling Hills Traffic Commission, authorized a Request for
Proposals for citywide street restriping and related work; and
WHEREAS, four qualified bids were received by the deadline of 11:00 a.m., on
Tuesday, July 18, 1995; and
WHEREAS, members of the Rolling Hills Traffic Commission have reviewed
the bid submitted by ASAP Services, Inc. of San Bernardino, California and have adopted
Resolution No. TC -95-1 recommending that the City Council award the City of Rolling
Hills FY 95-96 Citywide Replacement of Traffic Striping and Pavement Markings Contract
to ASAP Services, Inc. of San Bernardino, California in an amount not to exceed nineteen
thousand one hundred ninety six dollars and forty-one cents ($19,196.41).
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROLLING HILLS,
CALIFORNIA DOES HEREBY RESOLVE, DECLARE, DETERMINE AND ORDER AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Members of the City Council hereby award the Rolling Hills FY 95-96
Citywide Replacement of Traffic Striping and Pavement Markings Contract to ASAP
Services, Inc. of San Bernardino, California in an amount not to exceed nineteen thousand
one hundred ninety six dollars and forty-one cents ($19,196.41).
Section 2. The Mayor is directed to affix his signature to the Contract Agreement
as provided in the original bid packet, and the City Manager is hereby directed to
coordinate this citywide replacement of traffic striping and pavement marking project and
to obtain all necessary signatures and related information to commence this work as
expeditiously as possible.
Section 3. That the Deputy City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this
Resolution and enter it into the book of original Resolutions.
