A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ROLLING HILLS ESTABLISHING MEMBERSHIPS AND
PROVIDING APPOINTMENTS TO THE ROLLING HILLS
DISASTER PREPAREDNESS COMMITTEE.
WHEREAS, members of the Rolling Hills City Council support the continued
existence of the Rolling Hills Disaster Preparedness Committee; and
WHEREAS, a survey of existing Disaster Preparedness Committee Members
and existing Disaster Preparedness Block Captains to determine their level of interest to
serve on this Committee has been completed; and
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the City Council to encourage participation on
this Committee and receive input from the Disaster Preparedness Block Captains who
desire to serve; and
WHEREAS, two members of the City Council serve as Chair and Vice Chair
of this Committee.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IS RESOLVED AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The following members of the Disaster Preparedness Committee
are re -appointed. These Committee Members include W.D. Basque, Don Crocker, Julie
Heinsheimer, Joe Hummel, Allan Roberts and V'Etta Virtue.
Section 2. The following members of the City of Rolling Hills Disaster
Preparedness Block Captain Program shall also be appointed to serve as members of the
Rolling Hills Disaster Preparedness Committee. These Block Captains include George
Barr, Marilyn Barr, David Breiholz, Carl Price, Charles Raine, Bhupendra Singhal, Ron
Sommer and Debra Shrader.
Section 3. The Mayor is directed to affix his signature to this Resolution and
the City Clerk is directed to forward copies of this Resolution to all members of the Rolling
Hills Disaster Preparedness Committee.
Section 4. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this Resolution and
enter it into the book of original Resolutions.
