08881 1 1 RESOLUTION NO. 888 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROLLING HILLS AUTHORIZING THE TRANSFER OF THE CITY OF ROLLING HILLS' ALLOCATION OF SURFACE TRANSPORTATION PROGRAM LOCAL (STP -L) FUNDS TO THE CITY OF ROLLING HILLS ESTATES. WHEREAS, the City of Rolling Hills has a fund balance of $18,809 in Surface Transportation Program Local (STP -L) Funds; and WHEREAS, $6,285 of those funds are scheduled to lapse on September 30, 2000; and WHEREAS, the City of Rolling Hills is unable to utilize STP -L funds under the guidelines of the program; and WHEREAS, the City of Rolling Hills Estates has an eligible traffic signal improvement project which benefits the residents of the City of Rolling Hills; and WHEREAS, the City of Rolling Hills Estates has requested that the STP -L Fund balance allocated to the City of Rolling Hills be awarded to Rolling Hills Estates for the traffic signal controller system upgrade project which will benefit the residents of the City of Rolling Hills. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROLLING HILLS AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. The City Council authorizes the transfer of the City of Rolling Hills' allocation of Surface Transportation Program Local Funds (STP -L) to the City of Rolling Hills Estates in the amount of $18,809 for the traffic signal controller system upgrade project. Section 2.
