A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ROLLING. HILLS AUTHORIZING THE TRANSFER OF A
PORTION OF THE CITY OF ROLLING HILLS' ALLOCATION OF
SURFACE TRANSPORTATION PROGRAM LOCAL (STP -L)
FUNDS TO THE CITY OF RANCHO PALOS VERDES.
WHEREAS, the City of Rolling Hills has a fund balance of $23,663 in Surface
Transportation Program Local (STP -L) Funds; and
WHEREAS, the City of Rolling Hills is unable to utilize STP -L Funds under the
guidelines of the program; and
WHEREAS, the City of Rancho Palos Verdes has an eligible public roadway
improvement project which benefits the residents of the City of Rolling Hills; and
WHEREAS, the City of Rancho Palos Verdes has requested that the STP -L Fund
balance allocated to the City of Rolling Hills be awarded to Rancho Palos Verdes for the
rehabilitation of Crest Road from Hawthorne Blvd. to Highridge Road which will benefit the
residents of the City of Rolling Hills.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ROLLING HILLS AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The City Council authorizes the transfer 2/3rds of the City of
Rolling Hills' allocation of Surface Transportation Program Local Funds (STP -L) to the City of
Rancho Palos Verdes in the amount of $15,775.00 for the Crest Road project.
Section 2. The City of Rancho Palos Verdes will be the applicant for the funds
and will be responsible for administering the funds under the conditions, rules and regulations
governing these funds.
