A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROLLING
HILLS APPROVING A MODIFICATION TO RESOLUTION NO. 894 AND
APPROVING AN EXTENSION TO A PREVIOUSLY APPROVED
TENTATIVE PARCEL MAP NO. 26356, SUBDIVISION NO. 89, A REQUEST
TO SUBDIVIDE TWO EXISTING LOTS TOTALING 67.64 ACRES INTO 4
SINGLE-FAMILY RESIDENTIAL LOTS LOCATED NORTH OF JOHNS
CANYON ROAD AT 4 STORM HILL LANE IN ZONING CASE NO. 615.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROLLING HILLS DOES HEREBY FIND,
RESOLVE AND ORDER AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. A request has been filed by Western Brass Industries, Inc. with respect to
real property Lots 169 -A -MS & 169 -B -MS, and generally known as 4 Storm Hill Lane, Rolling
Hills, requesting a third extension to a previously approved Tentative Parcel Map No. 26356,
Subdivision No. 89 a request to subdivide two existing lots totaling 67.64 acres into four (4)
single-family lots. The subject property currently is developed with one single-family
residence located north of Johns Canyon Road at 4 Storm Hill Lane.
Section 2. The City Council on November 22, 2002 by Resolution No. 928 granted the
applicant the first one-year time extension until November 27, 2003, and on October 13, 2003,
by Resolution No. 945 granted the applicant a second one-year time extension until November
27, 2004.
Section 3. The Council considered this item at a meeting on October 25, 2004 at
which time information was presented indicating that additional one-year extension of time is
necessary due to the Final Map preparation process.
Section 4. Based upon information and evidence submitted, the City Council does
hereby amend Paragraph 1, Section 12 of Resolution No. 894, dated November 27, 2000, to
read as follows:
"The Tentative Map shall expire five (5) years from the date of City Council approval.
The Tentative Map was approved on and shall expire on the following dates:
APPROVAL DATE: November 27, 2000
EXPIRATION DATE: November 27, 2005
This approval shall become null and void if a Final Map has not been timely filed prior to the
expiration date or any extension granted pursuant to Condition No. 2 below in accordance
with provisions of the Subdivision Map Act."
Section 5. Except as herein amended, the provisions of Resolution No. 894 shall
continue to be in full force and effect.
