A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROLLING
HILLS ESTABLISHING A 25% SURCHARGE ON LOS ANGELES COUNTY
� BUILDING AND SAFETY DEPARTMENT FEES FOR AN ALTERNATIVE
BUILDING AND SAFETY PERMITTING PROCESS THROUGH A CTTY-
APPROVED CONSULTANT AND AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 496
AND RESOLUTION NO. 931. '
The City Council of the City of Rolling Hills does hereby resolve as follows:
Section 1: Resolution No. 496 is amended by adding thereto a new section 2 to read as
follows: -
Section 2. The following surcharge fee is established and shall be
collected for each permit:
1. BUILDING PERMIT In addition to the provisions of
paragraph 1 (A) of this resolution, a 25% surcharge on Los
Angeles County Department of Building and Safety fees shall be
charged for the alternative use of the City-approved consultant.
2. PLUMBING PERMIT In addition to the provisions of
paragraph 2 of this resolution, a 25% surcharge on Los Angeles
County Department of Building and Safety fees shall be charged
for the alternative use of the City-approved consultant.
3. MECHANICAL PERMIT In addition to the provisions of
paragraph 3 of this resolution, a 25% surcharge on Los Angeles
County Department of Building and Safety fees shall be charged
for the alternative use of the City-approved consultant.
4. ELECTRICAL PERMIT In addition to the provisions of
paragraph 4 of this resolution, a 25% surcharge on Los Angeles
County Department of Building and Safety fees shall be charged
for the alternative use of the City-approved consultant.
Section 2: Resolution No. 496 is amended by renaming Section 2 as Section 3.
Section 3: Resolution No. 931 is amended by adding thereto a new section 2 to
read as follows:
Section 2. The following surcharge fee is established and shall be
collected for each permit:
GEOTECHNICAL REPORT, SITE AND PLAN REVIEW In
addition to the provisions of paragraph 5 of this resolution, a 25%
surcharge on Los Angeles County Departrnent of Building and
Safety fess shall be charged for the alternative use of the City-
approved consultant.
Section 4. The surcharge established herein will not exceed the cost to the City of
providing the applicable services.
