1037 RESOLUTION NO. 1037
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROLLING HILLS,
CALIFORNIA, INCREASING SOLID WASTE COLLECTION FEES
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROLLING HILLS, CALIFORNIA, DOES
RESOLVE, DECLARE, DETERMINE AND ORDER AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. On Monday,June 9, 2008, the City Council held a duly noticed protest
heazing with respect to the solid waste collection fees. All affected property owners were
given notice of the hearing on Apri123, 2008, and given an opportunity to protest. 693 total
parcels were affected. The City received written protests for 18 properties prior to the protest
hearing and an additional0 written protests were received at the public hearing. A total of 18
written protests were received before the close of the hearing. The number of written protests
received was not sufficient to constitute a majority protest. The City Clerk has certified the
tabulation of written protests.
Section 2. The City Council hereby accepts the City Clerk's certification of the results of
the protest hearing and adopts the increase in solid waste collection fees to $1031.67 per parcel
per year.
Section 3. The City Clerk is directed to certify to the passage and adoption of this
resolution and enter it into the book of original resolutions.
