A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROLLING HILLS
ADOPTING THE FY 2009-10 CITY OF ROLLING HII,LS BUDGET 1NCLUDING
THE ANNUAL REPORT ON: GENERAL FUND; COMMLJNITY FACILITIES FUND;
MUNICIPAL SELF INSURANCE FUND; REFUSE COLLECTION FUND; SOLID
WASTE CHARGES; TRAFFIC SAFETY FUND; TRANSIT FUND - PROPOSITION
A AND TRANSIT FiJND - PROPOSITION C; COPS AND CLEEP FUND; UTILITY
FiJND; AND CAPITAL PROJECT FUND FOR FISCAL YEAR 2009-10
WHEREAS, members of the Rolling Hills City Council opened a public hearing on Monday,
June 8, 2009 to consider the recommended Fiscal Year 2009-10 City of Rolling Hills Draft Budget; and
WHEREAS, this public hearing was continued to the regular City Council meeting held
Monday, June 8, 2009; and
WHEREAS, following these two public hearings on the Fiscal Year 2009-10 City of Rolling
Hills Draft Budget, members of the Rolling Hills City Council desire to adopt said document.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY MEMBERS OF THE ROLLING HILLS CITY
COUNCIL AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Members of the City Council hereby adopt the Fiscal Year 2009-10 City of
Rolling Hills Budget.
Section 2. Appropriations in the amount not to exceed $1,576,150 (Budget and Budget
Contingency) are authorized in the Fiscal Year 2009-10 General Fund Budget for the purpose of
carrying on the business of the City for General Government, Public Safety, Public Service, and other
items.
Section 3. Appropriations in the amount not to exceed $63,000 are authorized in the
Fiscal Year 2009-10 General Fund Budget for transfers to Capital Project Fund, Traffic Safety Fund,
and other funds.
Section 4. Appropriations in the amount not to exceed $1,101,150 are authorized in the
various funds: Community Facilities Fund, Municipal Self Insurance Fund, Refuse Collection Fund,
Traffic Safety Fund, Transit Fund — Proposition A and Proposition C, COPS & CLEEP Fund, Utility
Fund, and Capital Project Fund for the purpose of carrying on the business of the City.
Section 5. The City Manager may transfer appropriations between and among all funds, as
defined in the Fiscal Year 2009-10 budget in order to ensure revenue and expenditures correspond to the
intent of the City Council.
Section 6. The Mayor is hereby directed to sign this Resolution, and the City Clerk, or duly
authorized Deputy, is directed to attest thereto.

was approved and adopted at a regular meeting of the City Council on June 8, 2009, by the following
roll call vote:
AYES: Councilmembers Black, Hill, Lay and Mayor Pro Tem Pernell.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: Mayor Heinsheimer.
ABSTAIN: None.
