RESOLUTION NO. 1103
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROLLING HILLS
ACCEPTING THE QUITCLAIM FROM THE COUNTY OF LOS ANGELES OF ITS
INTEREST IN PROPERTY LOCATED ON AND ALONG CREST ROAD EAST AND
EASTFIELD DRIVE IN THE CITY OF ROLLING HILLS AND AN
APPROPRIATION OF $33,611.72 FOR THE PURCHASE OF PARCELS 7567 002 032
AND 7567 008 017 INCLUDING ASSOCIATED FEES.
The City Council of the City of Rolling Hills does hereby find, order and resolve as follows:
A. RECITALS:
(i.) WHEREAS, the County of Los Angeles has agreed to quitclaim its interest to the City of
Rolling Hills in the real property (the "property") described as APN 7567 002 032 and 7567 008 017 in
the City of Rolling Hills, and as further described in Exhibit A to this resolution;
(ii.) WHEREAS, acceptance of the County's quitclaim of the properties is in the best interests of
the City and its residents; and
(iii.) WHEREAS, all legal prerequisites to the acceptance of this quitclaim and the adoption of
this resolution have occurred.
B. RESOLUTION:
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROLLING HILLS
DOES HEREBY RESOLVE:
Section 1. The City Council of the City of Rolling Hills does hereby find that all of the facts
set forth in the recitals of this resolution are true and correct.
Section 2. The City Council of the City of Rolling Hills does hereby approve and accept the
quitclaim deed to the properties.
Section 3. The City Council of the City of Rolling Hills does hereby direct the City Manager
to execute a Certificate of Acceptance.
The Mayor is. authorized on behalf of the City to execute the quitclaim deed and any and all
documents necessary to consummate the acceptance of the County's interest in the property.
The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this Resolution and cause the quitclaim deed to be
recorded in the Office of the County Recorder.
PASSED, APPROVED, AND ADOPTED this 28th day of February, 2011
