11111 RESOLUTION NO. 1111 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROLLING HILLS, CALIFORNIA SETTING FORTH THE, CONDITIONS FOR EMPLOYER PAID MEMBER CONTRIBUTIONS TO THE CALIFORNIA PUBLIC EMPLOYEES' RETIREMENT SYSTEM (CALPERS). The City Council of the City of Rolling Hills does hereby find, order and resolve as follows: Section 1. The governing body of the City of Rolling Hills, California. has the authority to implement Government Code Section 20691. Section 2. The governing body of the City of Rolling Hills, California has a written labor policy or agreement which specifically provides for the normal member contributions to be paid by the employer. Section 3. One of the steps in the procedures to implement Section 20691 is the adoption by the governing body of the City of Rolling Hills of a Resolution to commence said Employer Paid Member Contributions (EPMC). Section 4. The governing body of the City of Rolling Hills has identified the following conditions for the purpose of its election to pay EPMC: A. The benefit shall apply to all employees of Local Miscellaneous retirement group. B. The benefit shall consist of paying 7% of the normal member contribution as EPMC for all employees hired before July 1, 2011. C. The benefit shall consist of paying 0% of the normal member contributions as EPMC for all employees hired after July 1, 2011. Section 5. The effective date of this Resolution shall be August 8, 2011.
