The special meeting of the City Council of. the City of
Rolling Hills was called to order at 7: 00 A..M. on Thursday,
October 20, 1966.

AWARD OF CONTRACT
Mayor Fay moved that Resolution No. 209, entitled "A �
RESOLUTION OF THE .CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROLLING HILLS AUTHO�IZ -
ING THE� MAYOR AND CITY�:CL�RK TO ENTER INTO A CONTRACT WITH THE LOWEST
RESPONSIBLE BIDDER FOR THE �CONSTRUCTION OF AN ADMINISTRATION BUILDING
IN THE `CITY OF ROLLING HILLS, . �ALIFORNIA, be adopted. Councilman
Klein seconded the motion which was carried by the following vote:
AYES: Councilmen Hesse, Klein, Nadal and Mayor Fay
NOES: None �
ABSENT: Councilman Tourtelot �
. Mayor Fay directed that the minutes reflect that at this time
the Councilmen were of the opinion that: a) the total cost of the
. $roject will lie an amount as small as possible but not to exceed
78,000, including $68,367 for the �construction and approximately
$9,000 maximum f or finishing the project, b) the Manager be directed
to prepare and pres�ent to the Council and Association, for their
approval; detailed�estimates of the cost of finishing the project
in amounts as low as feasible, not exceeding the $iQ,000 maximum, and
c) the Estimated Re`eeip.t:s and Disbursements, Proposed Budget and
Projyec�ted Receipts 'and Disbursements City (All Funds) and Association
f�nancial projections be revised by the Manager to more specific
provision for the amounts and timing ,of these expenditures , such
revisions to be presented to the Gouncil and the Association .
