MATTERS FROM MEMBERS OF THE STAFF
Parcel Map
Mr. William Kinley stated that the City Manager and he felt the
Council might want to consider using a "parcel map" in dealing with
subdivisions in Rolling Hills , thereby eliminating costly and time con-
suming steps in the processing of subdivisions , and offered to draw up
an ordinance re parcel maps for their consideration. The Council agreed
that Mr . Kinley should outline the new procedure suggested for their
consideration.
Tentative Map Checking
Mrs . Clifton outlined the new simplified method of reporting on
subdivisions developed by Mr. Richard Skeen, Planning Advisore She asked
whether it was the Council 's desire to adopt Mr. Skeen' s method for check-
ing the tentative subdivision maps , in view of the fact that in considering
the Ellison and Stringfellow subdivisions there had been an opportunity
for comparison, and the Planning Commission and Council had chosen the
reporting form done by Mr . Skeen instead of the Sub-Division Committee 's
report .
After d?i.scussi.on.a the motion for acceptance of the reporting
