OCTOBER 9, 1967 „
A regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Rolling
Hills was called to order by Mayor Klein at the Administration Building,
2 Portuguese Bend Road, Rolling Hi11s , California at 7 :30 PeM, on Monday
October 9, 1967 .

It was moved by Councilman Tourtelot, seconded by Councilman
N�dal and unanimously carried that the minutes of September 25, 1967
be aecepted as presented.
CORRESPONDENCE
Reso�ut�on, South Bay Councilman's Association
Resolution No. 4, South Bay Councilman's Aasociation, with
r.efe�ence to the adoption of a uniform pipeline franchise ordinance, wae
�resented to the Council. It was ordered received and filed.
Proclamation - Fire Prevention Week
A proclamation designating the week of October 8 through 14
Fire Prevention Week was signed by Mayor Klein, and the secretary wae
instructed to so notify Chief Ralph Russell of the Los Angeles County
Fire Department. �
REPORTS OF CITY DEPARTMENTS
1 . The Fire Department Activity Report for the month of Sept-
ember 1967 was presented. The report wae ordered received and filed.
. 2 . The Sheriff's Department Reporte for the monthe of July
and August 1967 were presented. °The Manager reported that the report
for the month of July was correct, but the August Report conteined
three arreats incorrectly reported ae having occurred in Rolling Hills .
Mxs . Clifton advised the Council thet the maeter copy of the report in
th.e Lennox Sheriff 's Station and the file copy in the Rolling Hille City
Ha11 had been corrected. The reports were ordered received and filed.

543 be paid from the General Fund.
