A regu�ar meeting of the Traffic Commission of the City of Rolling Hilis was called to order by
Chairman Wi�son at 8:32 a.m, on Thursday, September 24, 20�5, in the City Council Chamber, at City
Hall, 2 Porluguese Bend Road, Rolling Hills, California.
ROLL CALL

APPROVAL OF MINUTES
MINUTES OF JULY 23, 20I5.
Commissioner Heinsheimer rnoved that the Traffic Comrnission approve the minutes of a regular
rneeting of the TrafFc Commission held on July 23, 2015. Vice Chairperson Virtue seconded the
motion, which carried without abjection.

DEPARTMENT, LOMITA STATION, ON TRAFFIC STATISTICS FQR THE CIT'Y OF
ROLLING HILLS.

NEW BUSINESS
CONSIDERA.TION OF A NEW DRIVEWAY APRON AT 13 OUTRIDER ROAD {Y00).
Chairman Wilson introduced the item and asked for sta£�s com�nents. Planning Directar Sc�wartz
reviewed the applicant's request for a new driveway apron at 13 Outrider Road. She stated that the
appIicant proposes to wideri the driveway fram 13 ft. in width to 20.5 ft. in width. She further stated that
the Tra#�ic Engineer has reviewed#1ie plans for the proposed driveway and did not express an objection
�, to the proposal. Traffic Engineer Munoz st�ted that she reviwed the plans for the proposed driveway but
was unable to perform a site visit.
Comrnissioner Heinsheimer moved that the Traffic Commission recommend approval of the applicant's
request for a new driveway ,apron at �3 Outrider Road pending the Traffic Engineer's site visit.
Cammissioner Margeta seconded the motion. Chairman Wiison stated that he and Commissioner Virtue
visited the site earlier this morning. Following brief discussion, the motion to approve carried without
objection.
After the meeting, Tra�c Engineer Munoz vasited the site and reported that she had no objection to the
proposed widening as it should improve the ingress/egress for the resfdents_

MATTERS FRQM MEMBERS OF THE TRAFFIC COMNIISSION
In response to Commissioner Heinsheimer regarding the parking situation on Hackamore Road, staff
reported that there haven't been any additional reports of parking issues.

CONSIDERATION �F AN ALTERNATE DATE FDR TI� NOVEMBER MEETING OF
THE TRAFFIC COMMISSION{ORAL REP�RT}.
Due to a conflict with the Tkanksgiving Holiday, the Traffic Commission selected Thursday,November
19, 2015 at 8:30 a.rn. as an alternate date for the next Traffic Comtnission rneeting.
ADJOURNMENT
Hearing no further business before the Traffic Commissian, Chairman Wilson adjouzned the meeting at
8:39 a.m. The next meeting of the Traffic Commission is scheduled ta be held on Thursday, November
19, 2015 beginning at 8:34 a.m. in the Rolling Hilis City Council Charnber at City Hall, 2 Portuguese
Bend Rd.,Rolling Hills, CA.
