WHEREAS, members of the Rolling Hills City Council opened a public hearing on Manciay,
June I3, 2416 to consider the xecornrnended Fiscal Year 2016-17 City of Rolling Hills Proposed Budget;
and
WHEREAS, following the public hearing on the Fiscal Year 2016-17 City of Rolling Hills
Proposed Budget, rnembers of the Rolling Hilis City Council desire to adapt said document.
N�W, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY MEMBERS OF THE ROLLING HILLS CITY
COUNCIL AS FOLLQWS:
S�ction 1. Members of the City Council hereby adopt the Fiscal Year 2015-17 City of
Rolling Hills Budget.
Section 2. Appropria�ions in the amount not to exceed $2,210,843 (Budget and Budget
Contingency} are authorized in the Fiscal Year 2016-17 General Fund Budget for the purpose of
carrying on the business of the City for General Government, Public Safety, Public Servic�, and other
items.
Sectian 3. Appropriations in the a�nount not to exceed $1,413,7U8 are authorized in the
various fnnds: Community Faci�ities Fund, Municipal Self Insurance Fund, Refuse Collection Fund,
Traffic Safety Fund, CLEEP Fund and Utility Fund, for the pu�pose of carrying on the business of the
City.
Section 4. The City Manager may transfer appropriations between and among al�
de�art�nents, as defined in the Fiscal Year 2016-17 budget in order to ensure revenue and expenditures
correspond to the intent of the City Cauncil.
Tl�e legal level of appropriated budgetary control,that is the levei at which expenditures may not
exceed appropriations, is at the fund level for any flne fund. Supplemental appropriations during tUe yeax
rnust b� approved by the City Council. All une�pended budgetary appropriations lapse at the end o�the
fiscal year.
Section 5. Tk�e Mayor is hereby directed to sign this Resolution, and the City Clerk, or di,�.ly
authorized Deputy, is directed to attest there�o.
