1186 RESOLUTION NO. 1186
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ROLLING HILLS FIXING THE DAY, HOUR AND LOCATION OF
REGULAR CITY COUNCIL METTINGS, ESTABLISHING AN
ALTERNATE LOCATION FOR CITY COUNCIL MEETINGS AND
RESCINDING RESOLUTIONS NO. 22 AND 465.
The City Council of the City of Rolling Hills does hereby resolve and order as follows:
Section 1. The regular meetings of the City Council of the City of Ralling Hills, Califomia
shall be he�d on the secand and fourth Monc�a.y of each month at 7:00 p.m.; provided, however, that if
any such day shall be a legal holiday then the meeting which would, except for such fact,have been held
on such holiday, shall either be held on the next day, adjourned by the City C�erk to anotl�ex day or
cancelled for Iack of a quorum.
Section 2. The regular meetings of tl�e City Council of the City of Rolling Hills, Califorr�ia
sha11 ordinarily be held at City Hall, 2 Partuguese Bend Road, Rolling Hills, California.
Section 3. Recognizing that the seating capacity in the Council chamber in City Hall is
limited to less than 75 persans and further, that the Council chamber may on occasion be unavailable far
use, the City Council desires to establish ati altemative location for #he conduct of City Council
meetings. When it is anticipated that an item af City business is likely to attract the attendance o£a
larger number of residents than can be accornodated in the City Hall or if the Council chamber is
atherwise unavailable, Rancho Del Mar High Schoal {which is located within the boundaries of the City
of Rolling Hills at 38 Crest Road West) shall be designated as the alternate location for the purpase of
holding meetings of the City Council. The meeting agenda for any Council meeting ta be conducted at
Rancho Del Mar High School shall state the iocation of the meeting prominently and a notice of the
meeting location shall be posted on the City HaII door.
Section 4. Resolutioz�No. 22 fixing the day and hour of the Regular City Cauncil meetings
and Resalution No. 4b5 estab�ishing an alternative City Ha�l for the purpose of holding meetings of the
City Council are hereby rescinded.
Section S. The City Clerk is directed to certify to the passage and adoption of this resolution
and enter it inta the book af original resolutaans.
