A regular adjourned meeting of the City Council:of the City
of Rolling Hills was called to order by'Mayor Fay at 7:30 P.M. ono
Tuesday, April 16, 1968 at the Administration Building, 2'Porrtuguese.
Bend'Road, Rolling Hills, California.
ROLL CALL
PRESENT: Councilmen Nadal, Sauer, Mayor Fay
ABSENT: Councilmen Hesse, Klein
ALSO PRESENT: Teena Clifton City Manager

ADMINISTRATION OF OATH OF OFFICE °
The City•Clerk administered the oath of office to Councilman -
elect Fred'Sauer, as prescribed by the Constitution of the State of
California, delivered to him his certificate of election, and he took
his place at the Council table.
CANVASS.M ELECTION'RETURNS
The City Clerk presented to the Council a copy of the Result
of the Votes Cast at the General Municipal Election held in the City
of Rolling Hills on the 9th day of April 1968 in Precinct 1, which
were certified by the Canvass Board. ,The Mayor then announced that
the followirig.persons were elected as Councilmen for a four year term:
Vernon M. Fay
Fred Sauer
RESOLUTION NO. 228
Thereafter, on motion by Councilman Nadal, seconded by Mayor
Fay, Resolution No. 228 entitled "A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF ROLLING HILLS ON THE 9TH DAY OF APRIL 1968, DECLARING THE
RESULT THEREOF AND SUCH OTHER MATTERS AS ARE PROVIDED BY LAW was
adopted by the following vote:
AYES: Councilmen Nadal, Sauer, Mayor Fay
NOES: None
ABSENT: Councilmen Hesse, Klein
Resolution No. 228 is set forth in full in the Book of Resolutions.
ADJOURNMENT
There being no further business to come before the meeting it
,was moved by'Mayor Fay, seconded by Councilman Nadal and unanimously
carried, that the meeting be adjourned at 7:45 P.M.
