WHEREAS, members of tl�e Rolling Hills City Council opened a public hearing on Monday, June 12, 2017 to consider the recammended Fiscal Yeax�2417-18 City of Rolling Hills Proposed Budget; and WI�REAS, following t�e public hearing on the Fiscal Year 2017-18 Cify of Rolling Hills Proposed Budget, members of the Rolling Hi�ls City Council desire to adopt said document. NOW, T'HEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY MEMBERS OF THE ROLLING HILLS CITY COUNCIL AS FOLLOWS: Section �. Members of the Ciry Council hereby adopt the Fiscal Year 2Q17-18 City of Rolling H�ils Budget. Section 2. Appropriations in the atriount not to exceed $2,333,70q (Budget and Budget Contingency) are authorized in the Fiscal Yeaz 2017-18 General Fund Budget far the purpose of carrying on the business of the City for General Government, Public Safety, Public Service, and ather items. Section 3. Appropr�ations in the amount not to exceed $1,333,500 are autharized in the — various funds: Community Facilides Fund, Municipal SEIf Tnsurance Fund, Refuse Collection Fund, Traffic Safety Fund, CLEEP Fund, Urility Fund and Capital Project Fund for the ptarpase of cariyin.g on the business of the City. Section 4. The City Manager may transfer appropriations between and among all departments, as defined in the Fiscal Year 2017-18 budget in order ta ensure revenue and expenditures co�;respond to the intent of the City Council. The legal level of appropriated budgetary controZ, that is the level at which expenditures may not exceed approprria�ions, is at the fund level for any one fund. Supplernenta� appropriations during the year must be approved by the City Counci�. All unexpended�udgetary appropriations lapse at the end of the fiscal year. 5ection 5. The Mayor is hereby directed to sign this Resolution, and the City Clerk, or duly authorized Deputy, is directed to attest thereto.
