FIELD TRIP
Chairman Che1f called the meeting to order at 7:30 a.m. at 2 Hillside Lane.
A. ZONING CASE NO. $97-1VIODIFICATION. Request for a rnodification to a
previously approved project. The Modification entails a CUP to construct an $00
square foot recreation room, whereas 705 square £oot recreation room was
previously approved and to construct a water slide in Zoning Case No. 897-
Modification at 2 Hillside Lane, (Lot 60-RI�, Rolling Hills, CA (Elkin). There
will be no changes to the other previously approved entitlements, such as Site
Plan, Variances and Stable Use Permit. The project has been deterrnined to be
exempt €rom th� Califoxnia �nviroxunental Quality Act (CEQA) Guidelines,
Section 15303.
Plax�ning Director Schwartz reviewed the applicant`s request for the modification
to the previously approved recreation rbom. Sfeve Larking, contractor, pointed
out to all present the e�ctent of the project, the delineations of the project and fihe
proposed changes. He also pointed ont the proposed water slide. Tavisha
Nicholson advised �hat the li�nit and quantities of grading would not be altered
from what was previously approved.
Foliowing brief discussion, Commissioner Cardenas made a motion to direct staff
to prepare a Resolution of approval for the project. Commissioner Seaburn
seconded, and it was so ordered.
Planning Director Schwax-�z stated that staff will bring the Resolution of appxoval
to the June 20,2017 Planning Cornmission meeting for consideration.

There being no further discussion, the public hearing was continued to the
evening meeting of the Planning Commi.ssion at 6:30 PM.
