AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ROLLING HILLS REPEALING
MEASURE B BY AMENDING SUBSECTTON (E) OF SECTION
17.26.050 AND REPEALING SECTTON 17.26.040 OF THE ROLLING
HILLS MUNICIPAL CODE
The People of the City of Rolling Hills do ordain as follows:
5ection 1. Subsection (E) of Section 17.26.450 of th.e Rolling Hills Municipal Code is hereby
amended ta read as follows :
1.7.26.050—Hearing procedure and findings.
E. Action. If the Committee makes finding subsection (D)(3) of this section, it shall order
such restorative actfon as is necessary to abate the view irnpaxrnnent and to restore the
complainant's view, inc�uding, but not limited to,remaval, pruning, topping, thinning or
similar alteration of the vegetation. The Committee may imposE conditioz�s as are
necessary to prevent future view irnpairments. In no event shall restorative action be
required if such action would ad�ersely affect the environment or would unreasonably
detract from the privacy or enjoyment af the property on which the objectioz�able
vegetation is Iocated.
Sect�on 2. Section 17.26.090 ("Presezvation of views def ned"}is hereby repealed in its entirety.
Section 3. Th� City Clerk sh.all certify to the passage of this ordinance and shall cause the same #o
be published as required by law.
