ADOPTING THE FY 2018-19 CITY OF ROLLING HILLS BUDGET INCLUDING

WHEREAS, members of the Rolling Hills City Council opened a public I�earing on Monday,
June 1 i, 2D 18 ta consider the recommended Fiscal Year 2018-19 City of Rolling Hi11s Proposed Budge#;
and
WHEREAS, following the public hearing on the Fiscal Year 2018-19 City af Rolling Hills
Proposed Budget,rnembers af the Rolling Hills City Council desire to adopt said document.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RES�LVED BY MEMBERS OF THE ROLLING HILLS CITY
COUNCIL AS FOLLOWS:
5ection 1. Members of the City Council hereby adopt the Fiscal Year 2018-19 City of
Rolling Hills Budget.
Section 2. Appropriations in the amaunt not to exceed $2,574,950 (Budget and Budget
Contingency) are authorized in the Fiscal Year 20�8-19 General Fund Budget for the purpose of
carrying on the business of the City for Gen�ral Government, Public Safety, Public �ervice, and ather
items.
Section 3. Appropriations in the amount not to exceed $1,632,950 are authorized in the
various funds: Community Facilities Fund, Municipal Self Tnsurance Fund, Refuse Collection Fund,
Traffic Safety Fund, Transit Fund-Measure R, Transit Fund-Measure M, Transit Fund-Propasition A,
Transit Fund-Proposition C, COPS, CLEEP Fund,Utility Fund and Capital Project Fund for the purpose
of cartying on the business of the City.
Section 4. The Ci�ty Manager may transfer appropriations between and among all
depai�tments, as defined in the Fiscal Year 201$-19 budget in order to ensure revenue and expenditures
correspond to the intent o#'the City Council.
The lega.l level of appropriated budgetary control, that is the level at which expenditures may not
exceed appropriations, is at the fund level far any one fund. Supplemental appropriatians during the year
must be approved by the City Council. All unexpended budgetary appropriations lapse at the end of the
fiscal year.
Section 5. The Mayor is hereby directed to sign this Resolution, and the City Clerk is
directed to attest thereto.
