Building 2 Portuguese Bend Road, Rolling Hills, California at 7 :30 P.M. Tuesday, October 14, 1969. W. Hesse Resident Mrs . Paul Saffo Resident MINUTES Minutes of the meeting of September 8, 1969 were approved on a motion of Councilman Klein, seconded by Councilman Nadal and unani- mously carried. Councilman Nadal moved that minutes of the meetirig of SeptemUer 22, 1969 be approved as presented. The motion was ,_ _ seconded by Councilman Klein and unanimously carried. CORRESPONDENCE � Regional Plarining Commission . A copy of a letter dated October 2, 1969 from the Regional � Planning Cammission of Los Angeles County to the Board of Supervisors was presented to the Council . Mr. 0. K. Christenson, Director of Planning, advised that Zorie Exception Case No. 9140, Congregation Ner Tamid, was referred back to � � Regional Planning Commission by the Board of Supervisors Order No. 153 � � on September 10, 1969; subsequently, the. Planning Commission referred -� the case back to the Zoning Board. After review the Zoning Board affirmed its prior recommendation for approval of the request for Zone Exception. On September 30, 1969 the Planning Cammission upheld the � � Zoning Board's recommendation and again approved the case. Mr. Chris- tenson advised that the applicant has until September 30, 1970 to use the exception, with the privilege of requesting another year within - which to establish the use. � In the discussion that followed :Mayor Hesse asked whether any communicafiion had been received from Supervisor Burton Chace, to whom ' the appeal of the City of Rolling H.i11s was made, and the City Manager ' advised that no con7munication was received fram the Board of Super- visors . Mayor Hesse asked �ity Attorney William Kinley whether the appeal protesting approval of the request for zone change was prepared as requ�red by the Board of Supervisors, and .Mr . Kinley stated that it - had been submitted on the form provided. for appeal, and had been de- _ 12vered to the Clerk of the Board, Hall of Administration in Los Angeles before expiration of the time allowed for appeal . Mr. Kinley said that all requirements had been met by the City, and the Board of Supervisors had three alternate cours�s of action; approve the action of the Regional Planning Commission, refer the matter back to the Comm�ssion for further consideration, or set the matter for hearing before the Board. .
