The regular meeting of the City Council of the City of
Rolling Hills was held at 7:30 p.m. Monday, 26 August 1957,
in the City Hall.
The meeting was called to order at 7:35 p.m by Mayor
pro tempore Bullard.

MINUTES -.MEETING OF 12 Auzust.1957
The minutes of the meeting of 12 August 1957 were read
by the City Clerk. It was moved by -Mayor pro tempore Bullard,
seconded by Councilman Elliott., and unanimously carried that
the minutes be approved as corrected.
LOS ANGELES COUNTY AUDITORtS REPORT ON PROPERTY EVALUATION
The City Clerk 'read a letter'dated August 16, 1957 from
J.M. Lowery, Auditor -Controller, County of Los Angeles, which
incorporated a report on property evaluation for the City of
Rolling Hills, as follows:

Thereupon, after discussion,in which all Councilmen
participated, and, after approval by the acting City Attorney,
Resolution -No. 37 entitled �A Resolution of'the City Council
of -the City of Rolling Hills, California, 'Fixing the Rate of,
Taxes -for the'Fiscal Year Beginning .July 1, 2957 and Ending
June 30, 1958; "was, on motion made by Councilman'Tourtelot
and seconded by Councilman Elliott, and on roll call vote by
the City Clerk".unanimously adopted. Resolution No. 37 is
set forth in full in the Book of Resolutions.
There being no further business, the meeting adjourned
at 8:15 P.M.
