raised during the meeting of January 8th about the necessity of re-
moving trees in connection with gradi.ng Johns Canyon Roado Mro Leonard
explained that Mra Shultz, is� w�lling to �°ealign the easterly portion o£
�Tohn� Canyon Road to save the euca�yptus tx°ees9 and he asked permission
to submit the final map prior to final approval of the road plan, ex- .
plai�ing that bonds have been posted by Mro Shultz for necessary road �
improvement as required by the subdivision ordinanceo After discussion �
of the request with members of the Council present, Mayor Pearson ag-
reed that approval of the final road plan is a staff function, and
could be accomplished after app�oval of the final map as long as bond-,
ing �or road improvement had been posted as requiredo
Mr, Gordon Shultz explained that when he purchased the property
approximately 25 years ago he had 1250 trees planted, and it is his �
_ wish to keep as many trees intact as possibleo Further, he said he
had retained Mr. Robert Dunn to develop the property, and wouldk�ave �no
:obj���ion'whatsoever .t�_ a�,l �raffic and deliveries in connection w�th
the development gain ac�ess to the property by way. of Crenshaw Boule-
�rard until development and const�°uction are completed, because Johns
Canyon Road is not suitable fo�° the traffic overload that �would result.
