A special meeting o� the City Council of the City of Rolling Hills
was called to order at the Administration Building, 2 Portuguese Bend �
Road, Rolling Hills, California by 111ayor Swanson at 7:00 A.M. Tuesday,
October 30, 1979.

CONSIDERATION OF AMENDMENT TO MINUTES DATED AUGUST 27, 1979
Mayor Swanson explained that the purpose of the special meeting
was to consider an amendment to the minutes of the City Council
meeting on August 27, 1979 with regard to City Participation in the
Urban County Housing and Community Development Program for 1980-81 .

Previous actions by the Council in connection with the matter
were reviewed, and the City Attorney advised the Council that he hacl
received a letter from Mr. Dennie Robinson assuring him that the City
of Rolling Hills would not be involved in acc�unting procedures, since
the City �vould not have control over the funds. �
Follo�ving discussion the City Attorney recommended that the
minutes of the Council meeting on August 27,- 1979 be amended as reques-
ted. Councilman Crocker moved tliat pursuant: to a request from HUD �or-
clarification of the �minutes.. of .the meeting of�the City Council on -- .
August 27, 1979, Item 9 (a) , CITY PARTICIPATION IN THE URBAN COUNTY
HOUSING AND COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT PROGRA�:i FOR 1980-81, the b'�inute.s be
amended to show approval of participation by the City of Rolling Hills
in the HCDA Grant Program for 1979-1980 (6th year) to include author-
ization for the Mayor to sign all contracts and agreements necessary
to participate in the program as may be authorized by the Council .
The motion was seconded by Councilman Pernell and carried by the
following roll call bote: �
