OF THE CITY OF ROLLING HILLS, CALIFORNIA

An adjourned meeting of the City Council of the City
of Rolling Hills was held at 9:00 a.m. Saturday,
30 August 19581 in the City Hall.
The meeting was called to order at 9:00 a.m. by
Mayor Goodman.
ROLL CALL
Present: Councilman Tourtelot and Mayor Goodman.
Absent: Councilmen Horn, Nielsen and Roach.
Also Present: City Clerk Gilbert Myers, Messrs. Erwin
Lenkeit and Thomas Barrett -Smith.
RECESS
Since a quorwn was not present, the meeting was
adjourned to reconvene at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, 2 September
1958.

An adjourned meeting of the City Council of the
City of Rolling Hills was held at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday,
2 September 1958, in the -City Hall.
The meeting was called to order at 7:30 p.m. by
Mayor Goodman.
ROLL CALL
Present: Councilmen Horn, Roach, Tourtelot
and Mayor Goodman.
Absent: Councilman Nielsen.
Also Present: City Clerk Gilbert Myers, Deputy City
Clerk Phyllis Stockdale, City Attorney
William Kinley, Messrs. Leslie Cunningham,
James L. Elliott and George F. Partridge.

ROAD LEADING TO COMMUNITY AREA
It was moved by Councilman Roach and seconded by
Councilman Horn that $250.00 be appropriated for
grading"compacting the turn in the road leading to the
Community Area and that Capt. Myers be authorized to
purchase railroad ties for a sum not to exceed $50.00.
After considerable discussion concerning cribbing,
pressure -run rock base and the use of railroad ties
along the edge of the road to keep cars and horses back,
the motion was unanimously carried.
ADJOURNMENT
There being no further business t -o come before the
meeting, it was moved by Councilman Tourtelot, seconded
by Councilman Horn and unanimously carried that the
meeting'be adjourned at 7:55 p.m.
