SPECIAL MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL
CITY OF ROLLING HILLS, CALIFORNIA
December 8, 1982
A special meeting of the City Council of the City of Rolling Hills
was called to order of the Administration Building, 2 Portuguese Bend
Road, Rolling Hills, California by Mayor Pernell at 7:30 P.M. Wednesday,
December 8, 1982.
ROLL CALL
PRESENT: Councilmembers Heinsheimer, Leeuwenburgh, Murdock,
Swanson, Mayor Pernell
ABSENT: None
PURPOSE OF MEETING
Mayor Pernell announced that the special meeting was called for
the purpose of discussing litigation and -the mediation process on a
potential lawsuit. The Mayor reported that he was advised by the
City Manager/City Clerk that all legal notices had been given for
the special meeting as required by law.
RECESS
The meeting was recessed to a closed session to discuss litigation.
MEETING RECONVENED
The meeting was reconvened and the Mayor reported that during the
closed session the matters of litigation and potentially imminent.law
suits were discussed.
ADJOURNMENT
Because the meeting was a special meeting of the City Council
and no other business could be considered by the Council, Mayor
Pernell adjourned the meeting at 9:00 P.M., to next meet at the
regularly scheduled meeting on Monday, December 13, 1982 at 7:30 P.M.
