CITY OF ROLLING HILLS, CALIFORNIA
May 15, 1983
An adjourned meeting of the City Council of the City of Rolling
Hills was called to order in the field by Mayor Murdock. at 9:30 A.M.
Sunday, May 15, 1983.
ROLL CALL
PRESENT: Councilmembers Heinsheimer, Leeuwenburgh, Pernell
Swanson, Mayor Murdock
ABSENT: None
ALSO PRESENT: Ronald L. Smith City Manager

SUBDIVISION NO. 75, TENTATIVE TRACT 35516, LOT 88-RH, DR. J. R. BLACK
Members of the Council met at 23 Portuguese Bend Road, the site.
of property consisting of 5.6 gross acres, proposed by the owner, Dr.
and Mrs. J. Ralph Black, to be divided into two equal size lots of 2.8
gross acres each. Mr. Scott Crawford, Lanco Engineering, -..was -.present .
to define the location of the proposed new property line, the location
of the proposed new residence on the lot which will be created, and to
answer questions. Following discussion Mayor Murdock ordered the matter
held for continuation of the public hearing at the.next regular City
Council meeting on May 23, 1983.
SUBDIVISION NO. 74, PARCEL MAP 14467, LOT 12 -EF,, LA CAZE DEVELOPMENT
Members of the Council convened at the site of a parcelo.f vacant
land located westerly of 86 Crest Road East.to consider a proposal by
La Caze Development to divide�.the 6.7 gross acre parcel into two lots
consisting of 3.3 and 3.4 gross acres. Mr. Douglas McHattie, of South
Bay Engineering Corp. was present to represent the owner and to.show
the proposed height to which buildings and-•'landscap.ing on Lot -1 have
been restricted by the Planning Commission and Environmental Review .
Board in response to concerns expressed by the residents of 86 Crest `
Road East regarding potential loss of view. Following discussion the
Mayor ordered the matter held for continuation of the public hearing
at the next regular City Council meeting on May 23, 1983.
ADJOURNMENT
The meeting was adjourned at 11:20 A.M. to Monday, May 23, 1983
at 7:30 P.M. in the Council Chambers, 2 Portuguese Bend Road.
