ADJOURNED MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL
CITY OF ROLLING HILLS, CALIFORNIA
April 17, 1984
An adjourned meeting of the City Council of the City of Rolling
Hills was called to order at the Administration Building, 2 Portuguese
Bend Road, Rolling Hills California by Mayor Murdock at 7:00 P.M.
Tuesday, April 17, 1984.

Mayor Murdock explained that the meeting of the Council was held
pursuant to Section 22932 of the Elections Code, which states that the
governing body of the city shall meet at their usual place of meeting
on the first Tuesday after the election to canvass the returns and to
install the newly elected officers. Inasmuch as two incumbent members
of the Council had filed for re-election to the City Council x4ithin
the prescribed time period and no other filings or nominations were
received, the Council, at a regular meeting held on February 14, 1984:. -
adopted Resolution No. 524, by which Thomas F. Heinsheimer and Godfrey
Pernell were appointed to the office of Member of the City Council for
a term of four years, and the election scheduled to be held on Tuesday,
April 10, 1984 was cancelled.
ADMINISTRATION OF OATH OF OFFICE
The Oath of Office was administered to Councilman Heinsheimer by
the City Clerk. Mayor Murdock said the Oath of Office would be admin-
istered to Councilman Pernell at the next regular meeting of the City
Council on Monday, April 23, 1984, and that reorganization of the
Council would also take place at that time.
ADJOURNMENT
The meeting was adjourned at 7:15 P.M. to Monday, April 23, 1984
at 7:30 P.M.
