ADJOURNED MEETINF OF THE CITY COUNCIL
CITY OF ROLLING HILLS, CALIFORNIA
March 14, 1985
An adjourned meeting of the City Council of the City of Rolling Hills
was called to order at the Administration Building, 2 Portuguese Bend
Road, Rolling Hills, California by Mayor Leeuwenburgh at 7:00 a.m.
Thursday, March 14, 1985.

ADOPTION OF ORDINANCE NO. U-48
Mayor Leeuwenburgh announced that the purpose of the adjourned
meeting was for adoption of an urgency ordinance, which requires that
a minimum of four members of the --Council be present to vote.
Councilman Heinsheimer moved that Ordinance No. U-48, entitled:
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ROLLING HILLS EXTENDING ORDINANCE NO. U-47
ESTABLISHING A MORATORIUM ON THE ISSUANCE OF PERMITS FOR CERTAIN AN-
TENNAS AND DECLARING THE URGENCY THEREOF be adopted. The motion was
seconded by Councilman Pernell and carried by the following roll call
vote:
AYES: Councilmembers Heinsheimer, Murdock, Pernell, Swanson

OTHER MATTERS TO C014E BEFORE THE CITY COUNCIL
PALOS VERDES PENINSULAUNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT, DRAFT EIR
The City Manager reported that a draft Environmental Impact Report
re: Establishment of Revised Attandance Boundaries for Three Intermediate
Schools Commencing 1985-86 was received from the Palos.Verdes Peninsula
Unified School District by certified mail on March 13, 1985, and is
available for review at City Hall.
JOGGERS
Councilwoman Swanson reported that there are increased problems
regarding joggers who run three and four abreast in the City, partic-
ularly on weekends, and she requested that a notice be placed in the
Newsletter, explaining the danger, and that it is a violation. The
Mayor so ordered.
ADJOURNMENT
The meeting was adjourned at 7:15 a.m. to Monday, March 25, 1985
by Mayor Leeuwenburgh.
