SPECIAL MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL
'CITY OF ROLLING HILLS, CALIFORNIA
August 8, 1990
A special meeting of the City Council of the City of Rolling
Hills was called to order by Mayor Heinsheimer at 7:30 AM on
Wednesday, August 8, 1990 in the Council Chamber at the City
Hall/Administration Building, 2 Portuguese Bend Road, Rolling Hills,
California.

Present: Councilmembers Murdock, Pernell, Swanson, Mayor
Heinsheimer
Absent: Councilmember Leeuwenburgh
Also present: Dennis McDuffie, Interim City Manager
CLOSED SESSION
Closed session to discuss personnel matters was called at 7:32
AM by Councilmember Swanson.
OPEN SESSION
The Council returned to open session at 8:00 AM to discuss the
appointment of a permanent City Manager. Councilmember Pernell moved
that Craig R. Nealis be offered the position of City Manager at a
monthly salary of $4,355 subject to appropriate credit and background
checks. He further moved that Councilmember Swanson be authorized to
relay the City Council's offer of employment to Craig R. Nealis.

Councilmember Murdock and carried unanimously.

Mayor Heinsheimer adjourned the meeting at 8:65 AM to Monday,
August 13, 1990, at 7:30 PM.
